  1. The idea that women over 70 should wear their hair short, especially if it’s curly, is absolutely ridiculous. I’m over 70, have long, thick, very naturally curly reddish hair, and am enjoying it. It’s easier and less expensive to maintain than short hair, because I only go to the beauty salon every six or seven months, as opposed to every six or seven weeks. I consider myself very lucky to have a hairdresser/stylist who supports the idea of keeping my hair long.
